He coaxed her and said she had the most beautiful smile he had ever seen and he would do anything to see that smile that night; even if he did all the talking to make her smile. She said she would think about it while she took his order. Ten minutes later she came back and placed his order in front of him and said yes, that she would like to have dinner with him that night. He then asked for her name and complemented on how beautiful her name was. He gathered her shift would end not late at all but he still asked. Later, as he got back into his car he picked up his car phone and made a reservation for seven thirty at his uncle's restaurant. Never had he taken a woman to his uncle's restaurant before but he knew deep down that Maggie was the one.
Machines stand to the left of me. My heart rate is fine, if not slightly accelerated. My vitals look good but there's one more machine that I also have no knowledge about. I try to move once again and find I can move my head but something feels weird. I lift my arm and reach behind me only to feel a cable or pipe protruding from the back of my head like in the Matrix. Images pop into my head. Is The Matrix real? I laugh a little, how silly. I sit up only to feel a jolt coursing through my brain causing me to double over and hurl whatever was in my stomach out. Wow, what the hell? Another jolt, this time a little less kick to it yet I still hurl more of my stomach contents.
A cold shower was needed as he woke Sunday morning, damn it, this woman aroused him and badly at that cause it started hurting. He was lazy, didn’t feel like getting out of bed but he had to do something so he slid his hand down under the covers and imagined his hand was her mouth but before he could even begin his phone started ringing. His father wanted to know if he could come over that night for dinner. Ok, that’s good; a distraction was what he needed.
