"No one ever expected those mutilated and deranged creatures to spill out from the Carpathian Mountain range and spread across Europe and Asia like a disease. In no time at all they had crossed the ocean and were on the shores of North America silently invading Canada and the United States before making their way south. By the time anyone realized what was happening it was already too late. Humans and supernatural creatures alike were thrown together into a boiling pot of chaos; fighting and dying alongside each other for the basic privilege of all life: to survive. We should have expected it though, we should have remembered our history." - Excerpt from the Diary of Azmaria Belvoir ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 years have past since the horde of forgotten demons spread across the world consuming everything in their path resulting in a war that has dropped humanity to its knees. The human race, forced to accept that they have never been alone in the world, now live along side the supernatural creatures they once called monsters. But old memories die hard and the fragile alliance between the races is at risk of toppling at any moment leaving all in danger of the coming darkness. Time is short and slowly running out for one woman who hopes to bridge this long standing gap of distrust and bring the races together in one final stand. The last chance for the survival of the world.
